I enjoy sharing out about my Homesteading/New Earth Prepper/Medicine Woman/Artist life-because it is SO full and exciting!

I wish everyone would live the life of their dreams and learn how to create from the Ethers as I have been blessed to do.. so I share! I teach and I encourage!

IF I CAN DO IT-YOU CAN DO IT!!

I love being a homesteader-growing my own foods and raising farm animals to feed me and mine.

I love living deep in the country amongst the forest,the mountains, the waterfalls and the creeks!

I love that the Nunnehi homestead has grapes and apple trees and a nice pasture and barn.

The water is pure with no chemical additives.

The air is clean as we live deep in the Appalachian Mtns away from industry!

NATURE PROVIDES SO ABUNDANTLY-BUT YOU HAVE TO GO TO NATURAL PLACES TO FIND IT-AND IT TAKES WORK.. SO MANY FEAR GOOD HARD WORK-BUT HARD WORK OF THIS SORT IS GOOD FOR OUR MINDS,BODIES AND SPIRITS!

WE live right amongst the Pisgah National Forest so there are 1000s of acres of woodlands and streams-paths to hike and ride horses!

I open my space for clients 3 to 7 pm Mon to Fri for healing and intuitive counsel-by appointment only!

My mornings are spent in prayer at the water like my Cherokee ancestors -waking up and facing the East in a prayer of thanksgiving!

I spend time drumming and singing to rise the vibration for spontaneous healing and manifestation of our dreams come true!

I burn sage to clear the space -I write out my prayer requests and send it into the Sacred Smoke to Great Spirit!

When it is not too cold and icey - I walk barefoot and connect to my Mother Earth all the times in prayer and gratitude!I connect to the Nunnehi/Faeries/Spirits of Nature.. they talk to me and share ancient knowledge !

My ancestors visit me and teach me and share the olde ways-both of Cherokee ancestresses and lately the ELDERS of my ancestors...are walking with me all the time and of my Irish ancestors teaching me old world sacred knowledge and healing ways! My family has been healers on both sides since time began...from Ireland they were Healers and Practitioners of Dana- the Cherokee side was Bear Clan-the Healers.

WE ARE THE APPALACHIAN FOLK MEDICINE PEOPLE..HEALERS,SEERS,MYSTICS AND TEACHERS OF THE OLDE WAYS!

I AM BLESSED THEIR BLOOD AND KNOWLEDGE FLOWS IN ME YET.. AND SOMEDAY IN MY CHILDREN WILL I PASS THIS ON...

AFTER STARTING MY DAYS IN A SACRED MANNER

I then tend to my homestead -Homestead projects right now ....as we approach late Fall and Winter - we are building garden beds for next year and building chicken tractors,rabbit tractors, turkey tractors  building a nanny goat shed in the barn - we will get our farm animals come spring when we are all ready to receive them!

When the time is right we will be tending to the grapevines and fruit trees .

We are cutting up 3 big pines that fell using that wood for our outdoors campfires and folk medicine circles.

We are New Earth Preppers-in that we believe this old world is unsustainable and is decaying and failing- we see a time of difficulty as society shifts -

We are NOW in the Great Earth Shifts and the next 5 to 7 years are gonna be QUITE intense and at times difficult...  but that something is coming behind that that is AMAZING! A New Earth-an age of peace-the Return of the Rainbow People!  I suggest you GOOGLE this- Look up White Buffalo Calf Woman and Prophecies about the Coming of the Rainbow People/ Rainbow Warriors -it is fascinating- AND I BELIEVE IT IS UPON US! 

Living simply, self sufficiently, raising our own fruits,vegetables and meat animals  as well as hunting and gathering from Nature, building New Earth Tribes, living sustainably,honorably, being good Earthkeepers and tending to the HONEY BEES is vital for our survival!

I believe forming community and getting close to a likeminded group of people is important to us all right now-more so than ever!

We are working to learn old time life skills and to live more and more close to the Earth-making more and more of our own medicines and because we move and work and connect-BECOMING more and more healthy and with thriving life force energy!

Getting ourself ready for winter storms and any power outtages by having  oil lamps candles and flashlights , water reserves , easily heated foods and getting a backup kerosene heater and extra fuel. We have propane for cooking and for our hot water and the furnace -but if power goes out we lose our water pump and the furnace blower... SO- we have to have backups-backups on backups too... that is the way of a homesteading prepper!

Since we are homesteading preppers-we believe in protecting our place!! Nice thing about being on the forest is we can practice w crossbow,axe throwing  and air rifle for quiet- and practice walking and navigating quietly in the woods- and can also set up a firing range to practice our shooting skills.

Genetically Modified Foods do NOT have the life force of Mother Earth

Genetically Modified Foods do not have the life force of Mother Earth- I first heard these words from Mayan Grandmother Flor Di Mayo of the Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers .

She said- " Gather together and plant your real seeds of the Mother Earth. Even if you are in a city or apartment you can plant a garden in your window or in a community garden "

She was so passionate about it- at the time I did not know about genetically modifies seeds and the foods we are eating. The poor of this country are eating it because it is cheaper food- wealthy ones or at least more economically stable ones are flocking to organic grocery stores...but what about the poor-ones with larger families and ones who are simply unaware that what they  eating is unnatural...

I have a friend that comes for healing-she works for a drug company as a cancer drug rep- she said she is seeing what she has never seen before.In her work she visits all the cancer clinics.She said it used to be only old folks-now the cancer clinics are bursting with people- and she said it is primarily-YOUNG PEOPLE-EVEN LITTLE CHILDREN!

We are poisoning our children in so many ways. One of the ways is through food- we are what we eat. Cells mutate to form cancer- we are feeding our children consciously genetically mutated genes-through the seeds.

The company Monsanto is to me one of the most evil entities ever concieved. If ever there was a monster that needed defeating that is it...

Who would take naturally occuring seeds and genetically alter them? Big business would- in order to patent the unpatentable.. in order to gain control of the countries food sources and in order to control the farmers.

Many other countries have banned genetically altered seeds. I believe we should do that in America. I believe these should not be allowed. I believe the American citizens should uprise and not allow this.We should take those seeds and burn them in the streets.I believe we should be allowed to vote on whether we will allow these to be legal in OUR country!

I believe given a choice people would shout out-

Oh Hell NO- to GMO!!!

Until that happens you will find me and the members of the Three Rivers Tribe gathering our seeds- planting our gardens and searching out farmers who will grow only organic and only  with Non GMO seeds ..these local farmers we will support IN ANY WAY POSSIBLE!

I am beginning to shop only organically and preferrably local to cut back on the resources used to feed my family.

Working on self sufficiency. Learning to wildcraft foods.

Yesterday something ancient awakened in my Spirit. The drops of Native American Blood flowing in me ignited and said... it is time to

 WAKE UP RAINBOW WARRIOR!

I am a peaceful person by nature. I am also a Mother- potential Grandmother... and as a middle aged lady- AWAKE to the dangers around my children -ALL children.

There is a predator circling around the weak and defenseless... this demon has fangs to kill- it seeks to silence us with fright. It seeks to attack us from within and without... do you not feel fear to speak out-I do a little bit.. I see flashes of being taken in the night to a Fema camp or disappearing all together- we are SO in a police state in many ways.

BUT YOU KNOW WHAT...SO WHAT!

When good people become afraid to speak out for fear of their government -it is time to open our eyes and see..when big business dictates to us the very foods we ingest-it is time to take action...

It is the time of prophecy for the return of the Rainbow Warriors.Peaceful Warriors... we will do no harm! BUT- we will raise our voices in a mighty war whoop- and we will bring this monster crashing to its knees!

We do it for the 7 generations to follow- I want OUR  grandchildrens grandchildren to eat REAL food!I want them to breathe free and to speak their truth!.. I do NOT want them pale,sick and dying before they ever had a chance to LIVE!!

And so this peaceful warrior rises up fists in the Air- barefeet planted in Mother Earth - HELL NO TO GMO!!!

If you know me you know-I am a big believer in the Fae- Fairy Kingdom

The Great Shining ones of Dana, The Wee Folk,Elemental Angels

They are by beloved  friends ,fellow Lightbearers and Healers, Earthkeepers and Warriors for Mother Earth!

I do my healing right along with them all around and by my side.

Some examples of things I have seen them do in my behalf!

I CONSIDER THEM TO BE SWEET AND LOVELY MIRACLES!!

When stink bugs struck the area I asked my house Fairies to ask the stink bugs to leave because I knew my husband would spray them and kill them... guess what-the next morning they were gone! I have shared this with many people who have had the same results.

In the garden I asked my garden fairies to ask the deer and rabbits and harmful insects to stay out of the garden and explain to them that this was food to feed my family-guess what- it worked!

I have tinkerer Fae that have repaired a car transmission,my car radio is hooked up to NO power source but runs( no power source but the Fae that is)they repaired a refrigerator that had been dead for 3 days!! -Runs like a top now ( repair man that came over after a year of it running it stopped 1 day-by the time he got there after a prayer asking for healing it started up again -we decided not to cancel the appointment he said I have no idea why this thing is running-it shouldn't be! )

We had a dryer repaired-it is still old and slow but at least it is not knocking around with a broken roller inside-yes the Fae fixed that too! We use it now to fluff up the clothes -we actually line dry in the basement for the most part now to conserve resources.I am very happy to have the dryer fixed though-of course!

So now onto the garden... right now I am ready to plant the seedlings for the garden-starting them inside -before that though I got a message from Faerie Kingdom to ring the seeds in my crystal bowl for 3 days and to set the seeds in the bowl all that time. When I rang the bowl yeserday the heirloom seeds inside their packets began to rattle and dance around-it sounded ust like a spirit rattle playing with me-it was lovely-such a mystical experience it gave me cold chills!!

This weekend I will plant the seedling using dirt from my fairy garden -I will pray over the seedlings asking for the help of the Fae in the garden -for prosperity,healing,good health and abundance galore in the garden and in all aspects of life!

This Spring and Summer we will ask the Garden Fae to ask the deer,rabbits, groundhogs and harmful insects to stay out of the garden-but we will also plant a small clover patch for them to enjoy!

I have been given a design to work with in the garden-in each Sacred Direction-East,South,West and North- to plant a teepee shaped structure out of bamboo to grow greenbeans on and to place a generator crystal inside each greenbean teepee-calling in celestial energies to aid in the garden and to set the energy for divine growth.The Sacred Directions alignment in the garden here will form a diamond shaped garden.

The Fae have asked me to put a water feature in the very center of the garden to anchor the divine energies of Water and Abundance and to plant a glorious herb bed right in the middle -then the teepees outside that-then the 3 sisters garden(corn,beans and squash) outside that..then the outer edges we can square off and give garden plots to the Three Rivers Tribe members to grow whatever they like!..I imagine in each corner where it goes from being a diamond to squaring off -that we will plant triangles of beneficial flowers...

Outside of the community garden-I will have my own garden plot as well for my family specifically as we are New Earth Preppers and intend to can,freeze and dry as much as possible this year! I will be asking my personal Fae Guides and helpers to aid us in this abundance manifestation!

My husband and I plan to as well get chickens and build a moveable chicken tractor,to get a few pet rabbits for making great compost with red wiggler worm farm below their hutch and maybe even a few milking goats!! As many Fae are guardian spirits of the animal kingdom as we work with these farm animals and get to know and love them-I imagine getting to know a whole other element of Fae Kingdom! OH BOY!!!

In time the woods behind our house and the garden area we plan to plant indigenous edibles,plant fruit and nut trees  and wild crafted herbs in that space and do a more Native America inspired edible forrest/permaculture garden!We will then of course ask the woodland Fae to watch over and tend the garden with us!

I am feeling so blessed to know Fairy Kingdom and to work with them-I wish and want and beg.. Let me work with you more and more as I become a better Earthkeeper! Please share your wisdom and help me become what I wish to become! A good healer, a good gardener, a good friend and fellow Lighbearers to all my relations -trees,rocks,earth,water, Father Sun,Mother Earth... and of course!

This week at the Enchanted Cottage

Hello there!

This is SandraBear Davis-the Appalachian Medicine Woman .

I am a shamanic trance medium healer, medical intuitive and metaphysical teacher.I have a great love for the Archangels,The Dove Goddesses and Faerie Kingdom!

I want to share some things about my life and some events we have going on this week at the Enchanted Cottage in Penn Hills PA!

I meditate each morning and start my day seeking Great Spirit and Mother Earths Guidance on the energy of the day.I receive the message of Spirit that I then share in my blog and occasionally on my blogtalk radio show.

I am also a New Earth Prepper and Organic Gardener.My goal is to raise a big garden and can ,dry and freeze everything we need and get a 2 year supply of food on hand and supplies for the coming Great Earth Shift.

I personally believe the system we are in is a slave world and is destined to fall soon! I believe this will be a tough time and we need to get ourselves ready to be self sufficient- like our Great Grandparents had to do- going back to the past for lessons is I believe the key to surviving and THRIVING into the future !

This year we plan to get chickens,honey bees, rabbits and maybe a milking goat or 2- we have an acre to work with for a little urban homestead in Penn Hills PA-just 2 doors outside of Pittsburgh city limits .

We also plan to store up 4 loads of wood and get a wood cookstove for the basement.

I need to get a bunch of rain barrels to collect rain from the roof this year.. sigh-SO much to do!!

I try to clean organically but my husband resists me-argh!! He is in love with bleach- so we have issues with that.. alas .

We are working towards going mostly vegetarian for his health and well honestly my weight loss. I am a big gal -but healthy as a horse! We still eat fish and ground turkey.

I do my work from my little home /healing space I call the Enchanted Cottage.

It is a humble space-full of love and light!

In it my husband Charlie and I along with our 3 pets- 2 orange tabby kitties Rocky and Rambo and our little Schnauzzer Shitzu mix Doggie Puffer.. have chosen a simple life of service!

My husband is a Native Pittsburgher who spent most of his working life in DC -he was living there when we met and got married.

We moved to Pittsburgh 27 months ago.

I am a Southern as can be with the drawl to match! I was born in Ky-but spent most of my life in Asheville NC. I am Cherokee /Celtic Mixed  and come from a long line of healers.

My eldest son turns 29 today!! Justin lives down in NC Mtns and is an amazing and handsome(of course being his Momma I say so-but he really is gorgeous) young man! I am SO proud to be his Mother!

I am going to work on an art piece this afternoon and do some housekeeping .

I really need to get in and organize my prepper closet today but most likely not... maybe 1 shelf -yeah that is not overwhelming!

Tuesday is art day again and I have a private healing client coming.

Wed to Fri 4 to 6 pm ones can come by for my trance medium healing .I do this in group energy .In this I do shamanic healing ,crystal and vibrational healing and as a trance medium I channel the energies of the Archangel Gabrielle to heal-I also work with The White Buffalo Calf Woman,Mother Mary and Mary Magdalene !We also call in Faeirie Folk to help in the healing! I sing quite alot of old healing songs and drum,do a sageing ceremony and such.

Thursday evening at 7 I teach psychic development -that is a good class of usually around 10 people! You can jump right in anytime!It is ongoing.

This Sat at 7 pm I am doing a prosperity manifestation ceremony of abundance called-I am Midas Spinning Energy into Gold! (my e-book available on Kindle for $9.99 is named that too)

During the days before the healing circles I will be doing my shaman art/channeled angel and faerie folk art.I also do a TON of  writing- besides this blog I write songs and poetry and am writing a book called-TA-DA- "The Appalachian Medicine Way"

So you see life is fun at our little Enchanted Cottage.There is always something going on -sometimes it is busy hands on work-lots of art and writing! My husband is on winter lay off so he is  cleaning out the storage in the basement and reorganizing everything so there is usally Oldies Music or Jazz going on in the basement.

There is usually a pot of beans and some home made herbal tea on- herbs mostly from my garden !
